Through significant investment in human resources and manufacturing capabilities, the Clear Lam Thermoforming Division is answering the demands of today’s marketplace and is the fastest-growing segment of the Clear Lam family.
Having closely studied consumer preference, Clear Lam has developed a variety of new products to address consumer, retailer and processor needs. Clear Lam manufactures hundreds of standard sizes as well as a variety of custom parts on the largest thermoforming lines in the world.
From design, tool manufacturing and extrusion to thermoforming and distribution; Clear Lam is a vertically integrated organization. The manufacturing plants operate under AIB Superior Certification and follow tight Quality Control and Quality Assurance Programs to provide ongoing performance and consistency.

The Thermoforming Division focuses its efforts on APET and Ingeo™ PLA containers used to package baked goods, produce, deli items, candy and meal kits. The containers are offered in clear as well as pigmented formats. Various mold bases are available for the production of custom sizes within short lead times and in a cost-effective manner.
As one of the largest extruder's and thermoformers of Ingeo™ PLA in the world, Clear Lam produces the EarthClear™ Renewable Raw Materials product line. Clear Lam works closely with processors, retailers and distributors. A new generation of smooth wall clamshells as well as two-piece packages have been launched to provide stronger visual impact. In addition, a proprietary tamper-evident system has been developed for commercial use to provide processors and retailers with the ability to eliminate shrink bands and enhance food safety.
