The Clear Lam Forming Films Division was established to focus its efforts on the rapidly expanding consumer and industrial markets requiring rigid as well as flexible forming films. The Forming Films Division develops and manufactures mono layer as well as multilayer films and sheet.

In house capabilities include extrusion, coextrusion, laminating and custom slitting. Various materials are produced to specific customer requirements including APET, PETG, HIPS, PP, PE, Nylon, EVOH, Surlyn as well as various multilayer blends.

The Clear Lam Forming Films Division supplies materials for the packaging of foods such as cheeses, meats, pastas, produce, and prepared meals as well as for the packaging of electronics and personal health care products.

In addition, the Forming Films Division supplies industrial thermoforming companies with rollstock for the production of pre-made containers. The Forming Films Division works closely with customers to establish appropriate oxygen and moisture barrier properties for specific applications. The Division also retains vast experience in modified atmosphere packaging and vacuum packaging.
